Anger Management
We know that anger is a secondary emotion to hurt and pain. Anger, reactivity and defensiveness hides feelings of rejection, abandonment, unworthiness, feeling miunderstood, feeling not seen and feeling 'not good enough'. Feelings of anger and frustration give us an indication of a boundary conflict. A boundary, according to Brene Brown in "Whats ok and whats not ok". Once we understand the underlying hurt behind feelings of anger, we are able to think more clearly and take responsibility for our emotional boundaries and needs. If you are struggling personally with anger and want to learn strategies to manage your feelings of anger and rage, then contact me to arrange an appointment.
